The Fogstar Drift Gen2 12V 460Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery delivers 5,888Wh of nominal stored energy for appropriately designed campervan, motorhome and commercial-vehicle auxiliary-power systems. Built around Grade A EVE LF230 lithium iron phosphate cells, it combines a high-current smart BMS, Bluetooth monitoring, built-in heating and Victron communication support.

Battery configurations and accessories

Fogstar lists supported configurations of up to four batteries in series (for an appropriately designed nominal 48V bank) or up to 16 in parallel, following its current manual. Do not mix different models, generations, or batteries with incompatible states of charge. A compatible battery mounting bracket is optional: choose the appropriate Shopify variant with or without it.

Vehicle installation and charging guidance

Measure mounting clearance carefully, secure the battery to a suitable structure and protect the positive terminal with correctly rated isolation and fuse protection. Choose the charging equipment to match the 14.4V LiFePO4 profile and BMS limits. Before adding large inverters, calculate continuous current, surge demand, cable sizes and ventilation/thermal needs; a 300A BMS does not automatically make any inverter or existing wiring suitable. Allow sufficient room for busbars, cabling, service access and battery restraint.
