How to fit

1. Locate the DRL Module: The module is mounted on the rear of the headlamp unit.
2. Remove the DRL Module: Unscrew the three T20 screws securing the DRL module to the headlamp.
3. Disconnect the Wiring: Gently unplug the connector from the existing DRL module.
4. Remove the DRL Board: Unscrew the two T8 screws and remove the DRL board from the heat sink.
5. Clean the Heat Sink Surface: Use alcohol wipes to thoroughly clean off any remaining thermal grease from the heat sink.
6. Apply New Thermal Grease: Apply two small dots of thermal grease directly behind the LED positions on the new DRL board.
7. Install the New DRL Board: Position the new board on the heat sink and secure it using the original screws.
8. Reconnect the Wiring: Plug the connector firmly into the new DRL board until it clicks into place.
9. Reinstall the DRL Module: Secure the entire DRL unit back onto the headlamp with the original screws. When pushing the unit into position, ensure the antenna wire is pushed up with the other wires.
10. Repeat on the Opposite Side: Follow the same steps for the other side.
11. Final Testing and Reassembly: Download the app and test both DRLs to confirm they are working.

Tips: Handle the LED boards by the edges to prevent damage from oils or static discharge. When removing the connector, ensure the release tab is fully pressed in before pulling to avoid breaking.

These LED units do not have ECE approval, and as such, their usage is currently not approved for use on public roads in any colour other than white: their usage is limited to ‘off-road’ applications only using multicolour features.
